Exit Security Window Screens

Window Exit Screens

Amplimesh® window exit screens are strong, durable, and work great at keeping intruders, without blocking you in. Designed to be pushed outward or slide open only from the inside, these window screens allow anyone in the house to safely exit through a window in the event of an emergency, they also make it really easy to maintain and clean your windows. Depending on your existing window type an Exit Screen may also be suggested to accommodate the window configuration and its hardware.

Including emergency functionality doesn’t remove or reduce any of the benefits afforded by all Amplimesh® products, from obstruction free views and airflow, through to a corrosion resistant design backed by a multiyear warranty. Don’t settle for less.

More than 2-million Australians know that Amplimesh® security screens are built to last, using a unique ‘pressure fit’ system to secure the screen in place without the use of screws, rivets, or other fasteners. This approach doesn’t only offer a clear, unobstructed view through our screens, it also prevents different metals from coming into contact with each other, thus preventing galvanic corrosion. The frames on all our security screens are made using heavy-duty aluminium, while the mesh can either be high tensile 316 marine grade stainless-steel – SupaScreen® – or a 5052 marine grade aluminium alloy – IntrudaGuard®. Performance testing is done not only to ensure our products last a long time but are also capable of enduring the harsh climatic and environmental conditions found in parts of Australia.

Amplimesh® window exit screens are secure as our fixed window screens from the outside. They are designed and tested to meet and exceed the same Australian standards for withstanding cutting attacks, various forms of forced impact, including against forced lifting around locks and hinges – a jemmy test – along with ensuring our screens reduce solar heat and damaging UV light in your home. And our screens need to prevent or withstand all this without ever restricting the flow of natural air into and through your home or preventing you from being able to see out your windows and in an emergency you simply depress the handle and make a swift exit. You can have an Amplimesh Exit Window Screen in either SupaScreen® or IntrudaGuard® Regardless of which of our window exit screens you choose, you can rely on it to keep intruders out, while always allowing you and your family to be able to exit through it should the need ever arise.

While all Amplimesh® window screens are designed to keep intruders out without spoiling your view or limiting airflow into your home, the key difference between our fixed window screens and exit window screens is that the former also prevents anyone – but especially young children – from accidentally falling out of an open window, while the latter ensures anyone inside the house is able to easily exit through a window in the event of an emergency. The frames of our exit window security screens are all finished with your choice of colour from Interpon’s range of environmentally-friendly powder coatings, and are always custom-made to the exact dimensions of the window’s they will be installed with, along with having the opening functionality suited to the type of window – either sliding open, or pushed outward.

With almost 100 Amplimesh® certified experts across Australia, we’ll be able to help improve the security of your home, without compromising on comfort. Just as we already have for more than two million Australians over the last 50 years. Whether you’re looking for sliding security doors in Hobart or Darwin; from the west coast of Australia to the east coast, and anywhere in between.
